It’s only been around forever so it’s as time-tested as any simple concept could ever hope to be.

Add to that: Proven results – Zero cost – Unlimited potential for success. All you have to do is show up and listen. But listen closely. You must pay attention to details. All electronic devices – smart phones, tablets, laptops, televisions – are prohibited.

This process runs consistently on schedule. Seven days a week. Less frequently is less effective. These guidelines are actually extremely easy to adhere to if you make them routine.

How do I know this solution works and should likewise work for you?

Because I’ve been directly participating in this solution all my life and it’s more effective than the majority of people could ever comprehend. Those who dismiss it will never realize the immense benefits it brings to those involved. They prefer to ignore the entire concept and would rather conveniently label it using terms such as “antiquated” and “out of touch.” They say they have “heard it all before” and walk away, never truly knowing what they’ve missed – and they’ve missed a lot. This is sad. To say extremely unfortunate would be an understatement. But they have made their decision and now they must live with it.

You’re probably familiar with this solution even if you’ve never actually put it to use on a regular basis.  All that really matters is that it works for all those involved. And trust me. It does work.

Seven nights a week, sit down and have dinner with your family. Remember: No excuses.

Ditch the devices and tune in to what is truly important. Everything else can wait and go on hold.

That’s all there is to it. Now were you expecting something more complex or sophisticated? Possibly a solution based on what’s trending now? Maybe something more technologically advanced? Something more progressive and cutting-edge in nature? Possibly an app or a state-of-the-art software program that could be downloaded instead?

It just never ceases to amaze me how far away from this incredibly simple concept we’ve fallen – all because of our so-called more pressing priorities, desires, and wants. This solution is not about selfishly wanting. It’s about needing – and America is in serious need of simple solutions to today’s problems.

And no, you obviously won’t solve all the world’s problems doing this every 24 hours. But maybe you can work on a few smaller, more personal issues while getting the heads-up on avoiding potentially more serious problems down the road.

We all need this time. Not just younger children but those nearing college age as well. As you know, kids in their mid-to-late teens have some formidable decisions to make regarding their future. They need your guidance, wisdom, and experience.

Now is the time. And if not now, then when? Jump in there. It can all start right there at the dinner table.

There is no need to over-complicate something that is so insanely simple.
